Sammy, 8, is a sweetheart, extremely affectionate and docile, a real lap kitty who also likes to be picked up! He loves to play with feathers and eat Churus and chomp on cat grass; one of his favorite things is to perch on his cat tree and check out what’s happening outside. He also loves hanging with his best friend, Nelson.
Nelson, 6, spent years in isolation before coming to his current foster, so he is adjusting to the joy of being free to move. He LOVES his new buddy Sammy! Now he is typically out and about, curiously watching the bigger world outside from his perch on his cat tree, or begging for food or playtime. Overall he is shy and needs a place to hide if overwhelmed, but he is getting more and more comfortable with people and he is gaining confidence from Sammy.
Nelson and Sammy met because each had 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘂𝗸𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀 (𝗙𝗲𝗟𝗩), and they became best friends. Having FeLV means that the immune system is compromised, but it is a condition that can be managed. More information available on request.
Sammy and Nelson are bonded friends who must be adopted together. They are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV.
